Parish Magazine - January 2019

January's edition of the Parish Magazine is now available to purchase or to read online. This month's edition includes:

• a few key facts from Fr Martin's book - "The Church of St Mark Reigate - A Celebration of the years 1860 to 2018";
• details of the dates for St Mark's Buffers -  Lavishing some love and shine where it's needed!
• A quick look at some of the clubs and events going on in and around St Mark's;
• An introduction to St Mark's Singers from choir master Toby Garrood, the driving force behind the choir;
• Community lunch - a call for more volunteers;
• A reminder of all the regular services and events at St Mark's and a look at some of the more specific dates in January and February's calendar;
• The kitchen project - we're still raising funds to rpelace the folding doors and help make the new space even more useful for the community;
• A couple of 'save the date' reminders from SMOAT - a Beetle drive and a Jazz evening;
• Winter Night Shelter - a call for more volunteers to help

Parish Magazine Subscriptions

To simplify the distribution process from 2019 we will no longer be seeking subscriptions for the magazine or adding 'names' to copies. Instead there will be a suggested voluntary donation of 50p and those who take copies of the magazine for others are very welcome to take as many as they need. The magazine will continue to be available from the Bell tower, at front of the church as well as online via our website.
