St Mark's in the Community

Our church and its hall are used by lots of local groups, including St Mark’s Players and the Reigate School of Ballet.  You can find details of the regular events and clubs using our church hall facilities on our website.

Local schools and community music groups also use our church regularly. Please contact us if you are interested.

Community lunch

Every month we have a community lunch, aimed at those who live alone and who would otherwise be isolated.  It is held on the 2nd Sunday of every month, excluding August, at 1pm in the church hall. Please contact us for further information if you think that you, a family member or neighbour might benefit from coming along.

Local Groups

St Mark’s actively supports local groups, either through financial assistance, gifts or time from members of our congregation.  Some of these organisations include:

  • Welcare – a local charity providing support for families with children
  • Sparkfish -  a local Christian organisation, inspiring and encouraging young people in faith
  • Our local Women’s Refuge
  • The Winter Night Shelter
  • The Salvation Army
  • Street Pastors – engaging with people on the streets to care, listen and talk
  • The Samaritans
  • Wayside – a hostel for young women at risk of being homeless
  • Surrey Young Carers
  • Combat Stress – supporting British veteran soldiers who are at risk of mental health problems
  • The local foodbank at St Matthew's

We also have links to overseas charities, including:
