Our period of Annual Giving launches this week on Sunday 26 April. An opportunity for anyone in our church community to make a one-off donation to the ongoing work of St Mark’s and to the costs associated with the maintenance and running of our church buildings. This year we are aiming to raise £20,000 including Gift Aid. We are looking to raise funds not only to meet running costs in 2026 but to build up some reserves for the future to meet costs as they arise. In particular we are committed to replacing the doors and windows in the Foyer, and the refurbishment of the organ. We have some money and grants for these projects. but not the full amount. In addition we will be having the 5-yearly inspection of the Church building and this is likely to raise costly repairs in the next few years.
