Coronavirus - 17th March 2020

The current situation is changing at a rapid pace and first of all I wanted to assure you that our Parochial Church Council are actively working to consider how we should respond and how to do everything we can to ensure the safety of everyone in our congregation and the community in the Parish of St Mark.

The following text is the most recent advice from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York. Revd Martin will be following this advice with immediate effect, until advised otherwise.


Easter Club 2020 - Registration

The St Mark’s Church Easter Holiday Club will take place on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th April between 9.30am and 2.15pm in the St Mark’s Church Centre, Alma Road. It is open to primary school children aged 5 to 11 inclusive.


The Holy Land - Pilgrimage in 2021

Fr Martin will be leading a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land in January 2021. Find out more about the tour.


Easter Club 2020 - Volunteers

Easter club is taking place on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th April. Can you help? We need volunteers to help our children. Please sign up in church or contact the office for more details.


St Mark's Mission Survey

We are undertaking a survey of both church members and those living and working in the parish as part of a revision of our Mission Action Plan. Please complete the online survey via the website.


Toddlers Group Christmas Party

Toddler group will be hosting a Christmas Party for you all!


St Mark's Singers In Concert

Join us for an evening of music and songs,performed by the St Mark’s Singers and friends. Saturday 30th November at 7.30pm. Doors open at 6.45pm


Workaid

For the month of October St Mark’s Church on behalf of Workaid are collecting unwanted tools, equipment, sewing and knitting machines.Workaid tackle poverty by supplying disadvantaged people with the tools and training they need to acquire employable practical skills and become self-supporting.


Harvest Festival

We will be celebrating Harvest on Sunday 6 October at all our services. At 5.00pm on Sunday 6 October we will have a Harvest Supper at which all are welcome.
