Everyone is welcome at St Mark’s Church and you will find a churchwarden on duty at our services who can answer your questions.
Families, with their children are welcome at all services. Please find a list below of our family services which are subject to change so please do refer to our calendar.
Family Service at 4:00pm on the 1st Sunday;
Junior Church at 10:00am on the 2nd and 4th Sunday;
Messy Church at 4:00pm on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
At services where Holy Communion is celebrated, anyone who would normally receive Communion is welcome to do so or you may choose to come to the altar rail for a blessing.
We have easy access for wheelchair users, and anyone who is unable to go to the altar rail is welcome to receive Communion or a blessing where they are sitting. Please mention it to the churchwarden who will let the altar party know. Cushions are available for use in the pews, if you need a bit more comfort and support. Please ask a churchwarden or sidesman for one.

Tea and coffee is served every Sunday after the 10.00am service providing an opportunity to sit and meet others. All are welcome.

Entrances
There are three entrances to St Mark’s
• A front (NE) entrance, with a glass door on Alma Road. This entrance is open throughout the year up to around 6pm (or dusk if earlier) for people to come in and find peace and quiet.
• A side entrance down the walkway beside the Church between the Vicarage and the Church.
• An entrance from the Church Car Park which is situated at the back of the Church and accessed from Alma Road.
Parking
On Sundays there is parking available behind the Church and in Alma Road.
Please Note - The Church Car Park is not available during the week from 8am-6pm except for a disabled parking space and 2 places for Hirers of the Hall.
